Our Offer Holder Day will take place on Tuesday 23^rd June 2026, 8:45am-1:15pm.

Our “Offer Holder Day” is your first chance to experience what awaits you in Year 12 as part of our welcoming and vibrant student community. During the event you will have the opportunity to sample your chosen subjects and meet your subject specialists, explore our bespoke sixth form facilities, get to know your new classmates and speak to current students. This will give you a real taste of the opportunities, support and independence that await you at The Hinckley Sixth Form.

Frequently Asked Questions:

• What do I wear?
  Like our current students, you do not need to wear uniform, just dress appropriately for a work environment.
• What should I bring with me?
  Please bring a notebook and well-stocked pencil case with you to use during your lesson tasters.
• Can I buy food?
  Yes, your bespoke sixth form café, ‘Café 6’, will be open and serving their usual break and lunchtime menu, as well as drinks and snacks. Contactless payments accepted. We will also have a few complimentary treats to welcome you!
• How many people will be there?
  Every student who has been awarded a conditional offer has been invited, meaning you have the perfect opportunity to spend the day meeting new people, making friends and enjoying the beginning of a fresh start.   
• Can I sample the Coventry Rugby Pathway too?
  Please indicate on your online event registration that you would be interested in attending an additional Rugby Pathway Taster session. We will share further details of this in due course.
• I am still undecided about my sixth form destination. Should I attend?
  Yes definitely! All students are encouraged to attend Offer Holder Day so that you can make the most informed decisions about your post-16 destination and courses when you enrol on GCSE results day. You will experience a day in the life of a sixth former so what better way to help you decide!
