Studying the Psychology Behind Group Norms

Year 12 explore conformity in their Psychology lessons.

Year 12 Psychology students have all been learning about how we change our attitudes, beliefs and behaviours in order to fit in with the majority who set group norms. They have creatively explored Asch’s line study to illustrate his experiment and variations of conformity. Some cleverly made it come to life in 3D style, others made informative posters and some even willingly practised exam questions. I’m impressed with their dedication and learning so far - it’ll be fun to see what else they can come up with as they become more familiar with the course!
