Enrolment and Clearing
Important information for students joining Year 12 this August!
It was fantastic to see so many of you on our annual Offer Holder Day! We hope you are making the most of your long summer, and that you are busy making treasured memories before your next chapter begins – you may be planning to travel, see family, gain work experience or even just take a well-earnt rest!
With this in mind, we wanted to take this opportunity to ensure that our applicants are clear about this year’s enrolment process and how to access advice and support from our expert team.
Please add the dates and times below to your calendar to guarantee a smooth start to your time in Sixth Form:
Thursday 21st August 2025, 11am-1pm
Once you’ve received your results, and have secured the grades to meet our entry requirements, you can officially enrol as a Year 12 student at The Hinckley Sixth Form.
Enrolment will take place on GCSE Results Day! Please bring your results statement with you to enrol.
- If you are a student from The Hinckley School, Saint Martins, Redmoor or Hastings, then a member of our team will be at your school on results day to enrol you straight away. Just make sure you head over to see them after opening your results!
- Applicants from all other schools are invited to visit The Hinckley Sixth Form Centre to enrol between 11am-1pm on Thursday 21st August.
When you arrive on school site please head to main reception and you will be shown over to the sixth form building.

Haven’t got the grades you expected? Try not to worry, students who have not met entry requirements on results day will be placed on our wait-list. Those students will be required to attend a Clearing Clinic on Thursday 21st August 2025 between 1:30pm – 3:00pm – we will meet with students on a first come first served basis. During the clinic you will sit down with a member of our team to discuss the clearing process and the courses that may be available to you here at The Hinckley Sixth Form.
If you require any further information or support, as you are unable to attend the Clearing Clinic in person, please call our ‘Advice Hotline’ between 1:30pm-3:00pm on Thursday 21st August for expert advice.
